Louise King

Louise Allen King, 97, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Guy, Arkansas, on July 7, 1918, the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Velma Lieblong Allen.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Murl King, parents, brother L. C. Allen, Jr., sister Elois Allen Brogan Lovett, son-in-law James T. Golden, and granddaughter-in-law Tina Sanges Eubanks.

Those cherishing her memory are son, Elvis (Jeri Bob) King, of the East End Community in Saline County; daughter Carolyn King Golden (Roger) Fidler, of North Little Rock; grandchildren Kime Eubanks, of Benton, Lewis King (Natha Jolly) of Conway, and Leigh Fidler (Scott) Feldmann, of Sun Prairie, WI; great-grandchildren Jessica Eubanks, Parker Eubanks, Rileigh Eubanks, all of Benton; Zachary Feldmann and Elizabeth Feldmann, of Sun Prairie, WI; sister Betty Allen Hooten Fincher, of Pineville, MO; special cousin Avanell Allen Squires, of Little Rock; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Louise was an accomplished seamstress from an early age. During World War II she made a Sailor Suit and Hat for little Elvis, just like his Daddy's. She made almost all of Carolyn's clothes, including a wedding dress and a long coat, during Carolyn's growing years. Louise crocheted an afghan for each of her great-grandchildren, numerous booties for the family, and a small Christmas stocking for each child each year, to be filled with money and chocolates. She also was an excellent cook, and was known for the dishes she took to Church pot lucks.
Louise was a Godly woman, and a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, North Little Rock, for many years. She was dearly loved by many.

Many thanks to Christian Companion Senior Care, including Cathy, Ronda, and Angela, as well as to Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center, including Dr. Morgan Sauer, RN Martha, RN Jennifer, RN Sonya and all the great staff, for taking good care of her.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice Home Care, 2200 S. Bowman Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, or to Faith Baptist Church, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Faith Baptist Church, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas, with the funeral to follow at 11am. Burial will be at 2pm at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
