Beatrice Louise Green Hansard age 83 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, April 23, 2009 in DeKalb, TX. She was born January 8, 1926 the daughter of Carl and Irma Beatrice Adams Green. She was a Certified Professional Secretary having retired from Henderson State University Athletic Department. She was a 1944 graduate of Sparkman High School, held 2 Degrees from HSU, an author, church pianist for many years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson C. Hansard and a son Robert G. Hansard.

Survivors include one son Jon Hansard of California, one daughter, Linda Cormack and her husband David of DeKalb, TX, one sister, Vivienne Purifoy of Benton, AR , eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday in the Atchley Cemetery near Dalark with Dr. Lee McGlone officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Saturday at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
