Luis Felipe Herrera passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 99 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born in the country of Panama and lived most of his life in Santiago. He was a business man, a poet and an educator. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage and tenacity in facing life challenges.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Yolanda A. de Herrera and several brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his sister, Leticia Herrera of Santiago, Panama and many other brothers and sisters; two sons, Luis A. Herrera (Maria) of Panama; Irving J. Herrera (Aurita) of Panama; four daughters, Yoly Redden of Little Rock, Arkansas; Dana M. Pohl (Bill) of Panama; Nives H. Northern (Randy) of Norfork, Arkansas; Sadialucien Stover (John) of Dana Point, California and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will be eternally grateful for the love, support and exceptional care our sister Yoly gave our father. The family also acknowledges and appreciates the help, love and care of many friends and caregivers (especially, Donna, Jennifer, Krishuna, Monique and Sherron).

Memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, Little Rock, Arkansas or your favorite charity.
