Louis Farris,

Louis E. Farris, Jr. 70, of Hot Springs, formerly of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011. He was born in Charleston, Mississippi on May 9, 1940 to Louis Ervin Farris and Annie Turbeville Farris. Louis was a United States Navy veteran and worked as an Electrical Engineer with International Paper for 30 years. He was a Presbyterian.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Farris of Hot Springs; daughters, Elizabeth and Judith; son, Louis "Lef" III; step-son, Clay; sisters, Elizabeth Fly, Eunice Kendrix, Lucy Dorsette and Polly Sprauge and brother, David Farris, all of Charleston, Mississippi; and six grandchildren, Katherine, Brooke, Gabe, John Michael, Clair and Steven.
A graveside service with Military Honors has been rescheduled for Friday, March 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
