Lorene Baker

Lorene Baker, age 87 of Dalark died Sunday, Sept 10, 2006 at the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born Oct 16, 1918 in Dalark the daughter of the late Granville Willis and Ella Digby Kingrey. She was the operator of a local grocery store and a member of the Dalark Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonza Baker.


Survivors include one son, Wayne Williams of Camden; one daughter, Mary Ann Ellis of Arkadelphia; one sister, Nellie Huneycutt of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.


Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, Sept 13, 2006 in the Atchley Cemetery with Elder Gary Harvey officiating. Interment under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
