Loren Buffalo

CPL Loren Miles Buffalo, 20, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011. He was a brave soldier who loved his family, friends and serving his country.
He is survived by his father, Cecil Buffalo and step-mother, Mary of Mountain Pine; mother, Anjanette Buffalo of Ward; siblings, Legend Beck of Ward, Lane Buffalo, Dalton Wetherington, and Kori Wetherington all of Mountain Pine; paternal grandparents, grandmother and step-grandfather, Gloria Jean and O'Neil Loetscher, step-grandparents, John and Dee Kimmer; maternal grandparents, grandmother and step-grandfather, Judy and Tommy Williams, grandfather and step-grandmother, Donnie and Joyce Lee, grandfather and step-grandmother, Joe and Karen Beck; great-grandparents, Theadore and Joanne Baker; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Buffalo, Jr.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Fallen Heroes Memorial, Inc., 1588 SFC 340, Forrest City, Arkansas 72335 or Patriot Guard Riders, 139 Black Jack Road, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Harvey Chapel Baptist Church, 2515 Mountain Pine Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
