Lora H Mahan

Lora H. Mahan, 93, of Little Rock, passed away May 13, 2023. Born in Providence, Rhode Island to Flora and H. Ray Hastings, she was a surety bond writer in the insurance industry and a President of the San Diego Surety Association. She was a devoted member of The Church at Rock Creek where she volunteered in the Food Bank Ministry.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, she is survived by her daughters, Lynne Mahan and Cindy Matteson (Mark); grandchildren, David Matteson (Catherine) and Emily Matteson (Barrett Smith); great-grandson, Albie Matteson; and niece, Chris Barron.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Parkway Village Shell Center staff for their devoted longtime care and to the staff at Arkansas Hospice for their loving care during her final days.
