Lonnie Benson

Lonnie Benson, 66, of North Little Rock gained his angel wings December 10, 2019.  He was born to Floyd and Betty Benson in Lonoke county on June 19, 1953.

Lonnie served in the Army National Guard, and owned several successful businesses including MLB Auto Sales, Inc.  He loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, sisters Margaret Schultz and Barbara Thomas; brother Larry Benson; and a great nephew Racen Schultz.

Lonnie is survived by his mother, his wife for life Carla; four children, Lonnie Benson Jr., Gena Clair, Chase Benson, and Tricia Benson; four grandchildren, Maci, Alexa, Jenson, and Cody; one great grandson, Declan; two sisters Terri Moody and Peggy Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00PM – 8:00PM Friday December 13, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
