Lonita "Susie" Pinson Ledbetter, age 69, of Caddo Gap, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was born on May 26, 1945 at Langley, the daughter of Tom Pinson and Lois Bess Morphew Pinson. On July 29, 1966, she was married to Jimmy Ledbetter. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Vernell Risner, Russie Taylor and Lois Dean. She was employed as a cashier for Wrights Food Center for almost 20 years and was a Baptist in her faith. She was active with the Caddo Gap Volunteer Fire Department as a firefighter and first responder. She loved the outdoors, working in her garden with her vegetables and flowers, fishing and, in her earlier years, hunting. She had also attained the rank of first degree black belt in Taekwondo. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ledbetter of Caddo Gap; her daughter and son-in-law, Renita and Jimmy Jackson of Caddo Gap; her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Deshe Ledbetter of Glenwood; three grandchildren, Heather Jackson, Andy Jackson and Christian Ledbetter; and six brothers, Pat Pinson of Glenwood, Mike Pinson of Daisy, Jimmy Pinson of Jonesboro, Jerry Pinson of Dierks, Derry Wayne Pinson of Athens and Jackie Allen Pinson of Umpire. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 29, 2014 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Caddo Gap. Pallbearers will be Marvin Burgess, Greg Harmon, Monty Coffman, Tim Hilton, Scott Hilton and James Dumont.
