Lois Ann White

Lois Ann White, age 83, of Pearcy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2023.

She was born on October 8, 1940, in Forrester, the daughter of George Walters and Jewell Phillips Walters.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Duane Allen White; an infant son, Duane Allen White, Jr.; her parents; two sisters, Bernice Buck and husband Quintin, Lorice Massey and husband Irvin; one brother, Hershel Walters; a brother in law, Johnny Moore; a great-grandson, Kadence French; an infant great-grandson, Maessin Buchanan; and a great-granddaughter, Koleston French.

Lois was a Christian and took an active part in ministry alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife for over 44 years.  She drove a school bus for the Lake Hamilton School district for many years.

She enjoyed making quilts for her family and even taught them how to sew.  Her family will miss her homemade chicken and dumplings and her chicken and noodles that she made.  Family meant the world to her and they took every grandchild camping every summer for a week at a time.  In her life time she rode in a horse drawn wagon and saw a man walk on the moon.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by four children, Jewell Lee (Ricky) Cooner of Jefferson, Texas, Ann Davis of Pearcy, Jimmy (Kathleen) White of Pearcy and Mark (Karma) White of Pearcy; grandchildren, Justin (Summer) Cooner, Jason (Rachel) Cooner, Randy (Whitney) Cooner, Keri (Kelly) Eslinger, Kristi Mootispaw, Kali MaE French, Kati (Derwin) Findley, Karlyn (Scott) Byrd, Kandace White, Austin (Amber) White, Dustin (Kaylen) White, and Abbigale (Jonathan) Graham; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Moore of Poyen; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
