Lois Sentell

Lois Sentell, age 96, of Austin, Arkansas, died October 21, 2014. She was born December 8, 1917, on Reveley Road in Austin to Oscar and Edna Barger. She is preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Uless Sentell; siblings Lorene Barger Guyot, J.L. Barger and Darryl Barger.
Lois is survived by her loving son, Tommy Sentell and wife Rae of Austin; grandchildren Shelly Sentell Jones and husband Dennis of North Little Rock, Susan Sentell Long and husband Alan of North Little Rock, Tammy Sentell Scully and husband Todd of Paso Robles California, Rory Seymore and wife Joanna of Peoria, Arizona, Stacy Seymore and wife Beth of Maricopa Arizona, Vicki McDonough and husband Tom of Peoria, Arizona; seven great-grandsons; five great-great-grandchildren; and siblings Louise Barger Shepard, Doyle Barger and Mae Barger Faulkner.
She was a dedicated farmer working on the family farm that has been passed down for many generations. She was a lifelong member at Baugh Chapel, serving in many capacities, but her passion was working with the nursery and pre-school children. Lois was an amazing, kind and caring mother, grandmother, sister and neighbor.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral home, Beebe. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Baugh Chapel Baptist Church, Austin, Arkansas, with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery, Austin.
Memorials may be made to Baugh Chapel Baptist Church Youth Department, 5570 Hwy. 319 W Austin AR, 72007.
