Lois Owen

Lois Fay Owen, 62, of Sherwood, Arkansas, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed from this world into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, November 4, 2009, leaving behind her husband, George Owen; five daughters, Judy and husband Doug Jones, Vickie and husband Steve Bailey, Gail Thrasher, Karen Stutts and Virginia and husband Roy Magby; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph David and wife Oneeda Crawford; three sisters, Elizabeth and husband Carl Neyland, Marilyn Rixie; Freida and husband Jonathan King; and one half-sister, Lilly May Scott.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Donations in her memory to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association are requested in lieu of flowers.
