Lois Marie Cozart

March 10, 1924 — January 24, 2021

Lois Marie Cozart, age 96, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

She was born on March 10, 1924, in Bonnerdale, the daughter of Nelson Sorrell and Minnie Sorrell. On January 31, 1942, she married Charles Cozart, who has preceded her in death. She is also predeceased by her parents; infant son, Hurley Leo Cozart; her daughter, Regina Stokes; her son, Charles “Coy” Cozart; one grandson, Charles Alan Cozart. Lois was the last one of 13 siblings, Virgie, Elra, Radford, Elvie, Grace, Herman, Sherman, Retha, Norman, Lola, Lorene, and Marlie.

Lois was a Christian and Assembly of God in her faith. Charles was a pastor for 50 years and Lois was his helpmate the entire time building and pastoring churches. She loved to go deer hunting and camping and she was a charter member of Kansas Road Hunting Club with her husband, Charles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Cozart of Hot Springs; three grandsons and spouses, Jeremy Lammers, Trevor and Samantha Cozart and Cody and Sara Cozart; three granddaughters and spouses, LaGina and Michael Wyatt, Bradi Cozart and Katherine and Kevin Rogers; 14 great-grandchildren, Brittney, Brantley, Adam, Devin, Rachel, Chase, Abby, Parker, Zoey, Tenleigh, Luke, Kynlie, Caroline and Harper; five great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters-in-laws, Winnie Dollar and Jean Elder; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Howell officiating.

Visitation will be 10:00AM–11:00AM.

Interment will be in the Aldridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Lammers, Michael Wyatt, Adam Cole, Kevin Rogers, Trevor Cozart and Cody Cozart.
