Lois Johnson

Lois "Tweet" Bryant Johnson, 92, passed away May 29, 2015. She was born in Ocala, Florida to Virgil Fulton Bryant and Lois Livingston Bryant. She was active in the USO during World War II, and active in the Scimitar Shrine Temple. She was also active in the Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, and served as an elder and a deacon.

Preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Virgil F. Bryant, and her husband, Virgil Leo Johnson, with whom she enjoyed a long, happy marriage of 62 years, she is survived by her daughters, Gale Hovell (Bill) and Debra Hefner; son, Allen Lee Johnson; brother, Henry Bryant; sister, Virginia Jackson; grandchildren, Zachary McLeroy, Melanie Flenniken (Wes), John Johnson, Chris Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Keith Hefner and Jenna Hefner; and ten great-grandchildren.

Her family wishes to thank her caregivers and Hospice for their loving care.

Services will be Monday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service at the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
