Lois Freeman

Jimmie Lois Avery Freeman 88, was called home to meet Jesus Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was a great mother who raised her family, as she worked as a cosmetologist. Lois loved God, children, and dancing in her spare time. She taught children's church for more than 50 years. That was her love and passion.

Lois was preceded in death by her mother and father, by her husband, James L. Avery and second husband, William (Sam) Freeman.

She leaves behind her son Larry Avery, wife Judy, their children LeAnn and Alan, wife Elizabeth and their three children (Oletha, TX); her daughter Barbara Avery Allen, husband Eddie (Gurdon, AR) their daughter Stacey Allen Burkins, husband Larry, and their three children (Saint Augustine, FL); son Steven Allen, wife Christy, and their three children and his grandson, (Gurdon, AR), Kerri Allen Yearby, husband Jason and their two children (Gurdon, AR); her son William Lowell Avery, wife Susan (Susie) (Okolona, AR) and his son Joel Avery, wife and three children (Memphis, TN); her son Roger Avery, wife Holly, children Roger Avery JR., Barbara Avery (Fort Leonard Wood MO) son Brock Avery, wife Jennifer (Quitman, AR).

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 12th, 6-8 pm at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. (Arkadelphia, AR)

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 13th, at 2 pm at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Roger Avery, Roger Avery Jr, Steven Allen, Jason Yearby, Matt Yearby and Brock Avery.
