Lois Farnell, age 86, of Mount Ida, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born on September 25, 1928, in El Dorado, the daughter of Buster Frachiseur and Addie Wilson Frachiseur. On April 13, 1952, she was married to Horace Norman Farnell who preceded her in death on October 14, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bill Frachiseur and Paul Frachiseur. She was a homemaker and member of the Faith Tabernacle. She loved nature, feeding the birds and was an accomplished painter. She loved art. She is survived by her son, Mark Farnell of Mount Ida; her daughter, Tammie Noel of Hot Springs; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Randol, and her husband, Caleb, of Moline, Illinois; her great-grandson, Caysn Randol; her brother, Delmar Frachiseur of Junction City, Arkansas; and a very special friend who was like a daughter, Ida Marie Mollett of Bonnerdale. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, in the Faith Tabernacle in Mount Ida with Bro. Delmar Frachiseur and Bro. Paul Burke officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the church. Interment will be in the Stanley-Standridge Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Ken Cummins, Mike Adams, Delton Hughes, David James, Jeremiah Cray and Patrick Cray. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Simmons and Arvin Saveall.
