Lois Buck

Lois Faye Buck age 53 of Arkadelphia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 28, 2009. She had fought her long-term illness, gastroparesis for over thirty years but never lost her faith. She was born March 6, 1956 in Arkadelphia to Arthur C. and Geneva Price Buck. Lois was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Arkadelphia. Her father and one sister, Joyce Ann and John Carmichael preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Geneva Buck; two brothers, Lester Buck and Charles (Louise) Buck; two sisters, Darlene Buck and Linda (Jim) Duncan all of Arkadelphia; five nephews, Charles Buck Jr., Jeremy Buck, Jackie Buck, Jeffrey Duncan and Randy Duncan and one niece, Anita Gail Carmichael, and special cousin, Betty Patton and her husband Jerry of Arkadelphia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 Am Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at First United Pentecostal Church in Arkadelphia with Rev. Richard Price officiating. Burial will be in the DeGray Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 Pm Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church. The body will lie in state at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home on Tuesday 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
