Lois Hodges Canfield

Lois Hodges Canfield age 92, of Bismarck, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home. She was born June 3, 1929 to Dr. T L.  and Charlotte Mikulus Hodges. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Lois was a registered nurse, working with several area nursing homes in Arkadelphia and Malvern. She was Director of the LPN School at Ouachita Vocational College in Malvern from 1975 until 1979.  She was the Nursing Staff Administrator at the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center at the time of her retirement in 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Stephen Hodges.

Survivors are one son, Dan Canfield (Tina) of Bismarck; one brother, Tommy Hodges (Marlene) of Bismarck; five grandchildren, Katherine Canfield (Andrew) of Little Rock, Samantha Simons (Sean) of Springdale, Jessica Gilliland (Daniel) of Gassville, Arkansas,  Harleigh Canfield and Dan Canfield Jr. both of Bismarck.

Family services are being planned later.
