Lloyd Meeks, 48, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010. Lloyd was a member of Morgan Full Gospel Church. He was "Papa Lloyd" to the Oak Grove community and he never met a stranger. He was loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Meeks; two sons, Robert Meeks (Lauren) and Russell Meeks; daughter, Regina Meeks, all of North Little Rock; three brothers, Donnie Meeks (Jan), Tommy Meeks (Theresa) and James Meeks (Trish), all of Mayflower; two sisters, Sheila Haile, of Mayflower and Rena Hester (Chuck), of North Little Rock; mother, Jewel Dean Meeks, of Mayflower; grandchildren, Robert Meeks Jr., and Haley Meeks; and a host of extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Wildon T. (Bill) Meeks and twin brother, Floyd Meeks.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Morgan Full Gospel Church. Burial will be in Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
