Lloyd Henry Herbert, 69, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. He was born June 19, 1941 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Harry E. Herbert Sr. and Madgie M. Shannon Herbert. Lloyd was a simple man, who loved to hunt, fish, going to ball games, the St. Louis Cardinals and most especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Kim Keedy, of Sheridan and Angie Sharp and husband, Charles, of Magnolia; two sons, Tim Herbert and wife, Lynn and David Herbert and wife, Melissa, all of East End; grandchildren, Krysten, Karson, Jessica, Gregory, Megan, Hunter, Jonathan and Julia; one great-grandchild, Addision; three sisters; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
