Lloyd D. Couch

Lloyd D. Couch, age 82, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

He was born on August 1, 1939, in Hot Springs, the son of Durwood Couch and Ivena Henderson Couch. On October 17, 1960, he married the love of his life, Betty Faulkner. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Jeffrey Shane Couch; one daughter, Penny Couch; a granddaughter, Nalani Brown; four brothers; and three sisters.

Lloyd was a Christian and a member of Victory Tabernacle U.P.C. He is a United States Airforce Veteran. He worked for Wonder Bread for many years before retiring. He was a hard-working and loving family-man, who was an avid Razorback fan. Lloyd was a hunter but his greatest joy was taking care of his family. He loved to garden and grow many things for his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Couch of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Laurie Couch of Hot Springs and Todd and Kristin Couch of Hot Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kim and Billy Kitchens of Hot Springs and Shelia Couch of Hot Springs; eleven grandchildren, Mitch Couch, Eric Couch, Trisha Couch, Samantha Anderson, Casey Couch, Kannon Couch, Cristopher Blankenship, Dakota Blankenship Ethan Reine, Justin Brown and Ava Couch; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Sherrie Adair Couch; numerous nieces, nephew, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2021, with Bro. Brian Ferrell and Bro. Harold Mauldin officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Prairie Bayou Cemetery with full military honors.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Justin Brown, Dakota Blankenship, Eric, Couch, Kannon Couch, Bryan Couch and Billy Kitchens.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Couch, Mitch Lloyd Couch, Harvey Couch, Landon Brown and Trisha Couch.
