Lloyd Edward "Butch" Clinton, 60, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away at the VA Hospital Friday, February 5, 2010 following a brief illness. Butch was born in Keokek, Iowa January 15, 1950 to John Clinton and Doris Feind Hopkins.
He survived by his wife of 39 years, Elaine Clinton and his daughter, Beth Clinton, both of Batesville; sons, Sean Clinton (Heather) of China Spring, Texas and Brian Clinton (Melinda) of Joshua, Texas; mother and step-father, Doris Feind and James Hopkins; six grandchildren, Corey, Michael, Jennah, Rachel, Paul and Abigail; a great-grandchild due in August; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Jennifer Clinton, grandparents, Bill and Willie Feind and brother, Johnny Hopkins.
Graveside services will be private at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Lake Whitney in Whitney, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harrison House, 704 South Valentine St., Little Rock, AR 72205.
