Lloyd Blair

Lloyd J. "Bob" Blair, age 88, passed away at his home in North Little Rock on May 23, 2015. Bob was a United States Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the Park Hill Christian Church of North Little Rock and a volunteer at the Park Hill Food Bank. He served with distinction for 30 years with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. Bob met his goal of visiting all 50 states and had just returned with his constant companion Jeanne Robertson from a trip to Italy just prior to falling ill.
He was preceded by his wives Ruth "Betty" Lindley and Sally Miner and his parents Warren & Cynthia Blair.
Bob is survived by his two sons, Bruce & wife Jeanne of Virginia Beach, VA, David & wife Terri of Salem, Illinois and his constant companion Jeanne Robertson of North Little Rock; grandchildren James, Rebecca, Sarah, Abigail Bruce Jr and Taylor and 9 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m. May 29th, 2015 by Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. With visitaion from 10-11 a.m. prior to service. On-line guest register at www.smithfamilycares.com
