Lita Ladd was born in Camp John Hay Hospital in Baquio City, Luzon, Philippine Islands on February 29, 1936. She and her family moved to Dugway, Utah where she met and married, Norman Ladd from Bald Knob, Arkansas. They were married 53 years until his death in 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Ladd; son, Stephen Ladd; and her parents, Emilio and Angelina Quidileg. She is survived by Jeff Ladd, (Alice) of Magnet Cove, Donna Linker, (Mark), David Ladd, Grandson, Joel Linker, Granddaughter, Brittnee Linker-Wiles (Merrick) and great- granddaughter, Elliot Rose, all of Springdale, AR.
Her life's work, outside of the home, was given to Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock. She served on the Altar Society, Arts and Crafts Guild and for many years comforted those following a funeral with wonderful meals. She has so many dear and true friends that we, as her family are so thankful for. We also want to thank Penny Jordan and Lori Garcia who cared for mom in her home until she moved. We want to thank everyone at Apple Creek Skilled Care Facility in Centerton, Arkansas. They treated her with respect, love, and care until her passing on April 22, 2020. She died of natural causes following a long illness. She will always be everyone's sweet Lita. Rest In love!

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
