Lisa Ann Crawford

Lisa Ann Crawford, December 14, 1965, to June 7, 2023.

Lisa was born in Seneca, Kansas.  Her first home was nearby Frankfort, Kansas.  By the time she was ready for school her family had moved to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where she attended the public schools from kindergarten until she graduated from Arkadelphia High School with honors in 1984.  She then went to Henderson State University where she graduated in 1988.  Lisa went on to become a Massage Therapist.  She worked at the Buckstaff Bathhouse in Hot Springs, Arkansas, for many years until she opened her own business, Lisa’s Therapeutic Massage, in Benton, Arkansas, which she operated until her death.

The church was a very important part of her life.  She was raised in the First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia and, while she was in Benton, Lisa was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Benton.  During her four-and-a-half-year battle with cancer she was tremendously grateful for the support she received from her church and her many friends who assisted her in her time of need.

Surviving Lisa are her father and stepmother, Albert and Charlotte Crawford; her mother and stepfather, Nina and Jim Seibert; her uncles, Allen Crawford and Donald Whinery; her aunt, Mary Ellen Kline; her stepsister, Cheryl Smith; her stepbrothers, Tim Coffer and Steve Seibert; and 8 first cousins.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Lisa Crawford Gratitude Fund at the First United Methodist Church in Benton, Arkansas.  This mission fund has been established to express Lisa’s gratitude to the church for the loving support she has received during the past number of years.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10th, at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00AM , at First United Methodist Church, 200 S. Market St., Benton.
