Lisa Ann Forga, age 52, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was born on March 22, 1967 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Guy Ward and Imogene "Jean" Maxey Ward. She was preceded in death by her mother. Lisa was a 1985 graduate of Glenwood High School and a cancer survivor who was active with the Tri-County Relay for Life. The Pike County Fair was a big part of the year for her and her girls. She would always help her girls, and other kids, who entered and showed their livestock at the fair. One of her best roles was that of Ma-Maw to her three grandchildren. Lisa was a Christian in her faith. She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Kroll and Amanda Minton and her husband, Billy; her grandchildren, Guy Cooper Kroll, Dally Ann Minton and Trace Minton; her father, Guy Ward, all of Glenwood; and a special person she loved like a daughter, Sydney Pipkins of Glenwood. Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 21, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Kyle Cowart and Bro. Olen Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Herring, Dalton Cox, Dodge Cowart, Kaden Bryant, Gage Galloway, Blake Swain, Taylor Collum and Kyler Bryant. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
