Lindsey Wooten

Lindsey Malcolm Wooten, 66, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. He was born June 1, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Julian and Hazel Wooten. He served in the United States Army and was a North Little Rock Policeman. He was a man who loved his family; "Big Daddy" will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Wallace Wooten; daughters, Wendy Bowen (Johnny) and Shannon Thomas (Ron); brother, Jim Wooten (Renee); step children, Eric Cox (Wendy) and Amber Rayborn; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandsons; several nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law, Phillip Wallace and Ronald Wallace (Dixie). He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Bob Wooten; and sister-in-law, Sherry Fergert Wooten.
Memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114 or Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, 6700 South University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.
Burial with military honors will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock. Memorial service will be held 11:30 A.M Friday at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home.
