Lindle Ray, age 80, of Kirby, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born on January 9, 1937 at Daisy, the son of Hobson Ray and Minnie Parker Ray. On July 19, 1957, he was married to Yvonna Barentine Ray who preceded him in death on November 2, 2017. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Ray-Knisley. He was a retired carpenter and member of the Glenwood Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Arkansas Dog Hunters Association and the Rock Creek Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working his garden and spoiling his grandchildren. He is survived by his twins, Todd Ray and his wife, Angela, and Angel Anderson, all of Kirby; four grandchildren, Andrea Anderson, Alex Vines and her husband, Ethan, Jacob Ray and Jenna Ray; two great-grandchildren, Alaina Smith and Cameron Vines; his brother, Leroy Ray of Texarkana; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 23, 2017, in the Glenwood Church of Christ with John Hall officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Clint Cook, Kevin Golden, Willard Turner, Steve Risner, Kevin Roberts and Pete Pedron. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Turner, Danny Turner and Scott Anderson.
