Linda West

Linda West of Beebe, Arkansas passed away May 27, 2015, leaving behind her beloved Patrick and Wyatt, countless family and friends and a lifetime of memories. She was predeceased by her son, Bobby West. Linda was born in 1954 at Reading AFB, United Kingdom to Harold and Opal Wiggins, who have both now passed. Linda's siblings were Leonard, Dennis (now deceased), Margie, Marie, and Marcella. Linda grew up in Cabot, Arkansas and graduated high school in 1972. She spent her career as a Title Clerk, and started at Excel Ford of Cabot in 1989 (where she would spend the next 26 years).
Linda understood life, perhaps too well. You can imagine she was beaming with pride and worried sick the day her sons Bobby and Patrick joined the Army to fight for our country in Iraq. Perhaps you can imagine the pain of the call to say Bobby was killed in action by an improvised explosive device on May 30, 2006. Linda never stopped grieving - but she also never stopped living with determination.
Linda was best known for her dry sense of humor - a sarcastic wit that was always delivered with unmistakable kindness. It is this humor and kindness that lives on as we mourn and as we celebrate her life. Our cherished mother, sister, aunt, friend is at peace.
