Linda Kay Stafford

Linda Kay Stafford, age 76, of Caddo Gap, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

She was born on November 7, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas, the daughter of James D. Phillips and Clotile Thomas Phillips.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jimmy Phillips and Marvin Phillips; and two sisters, Barbara Daniels and Betty Scott.

On March 23, 1967, Linda was married to the true love of her life, James Theodore "Teddy" Stafford.  

She attended the Caddo Gap First Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and friends.  Linda will forever be remembered for her special ways that she was always trying to help everyone, she would offer to do anything she could to help someone out.  Linda was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family with all her heart.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Teddy Stafford of Caddo Gap; her children, Debbie Stafford of Hot Springs and Amos Stafford and his wife, Tammy, of Mount Ida; four grandchildren, Tyler Stafford, Zack Wallace, Kimmy Cude and Deidra Lenard; several great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephew, Martha Whittet, Robin Hill, Rosanna Miller, April Vara, Belinda Wabbington and Steven Phillips; numerous extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Dewayne Holloway officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, 209 North 3rd Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.

Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Caddo Gap.
