Linda Alice Rowland Saffell

Linda Alice Rowland Saffell, age 68, of Kirby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 19, 2024.

She was born on March 23, 1955, the daughter of James T. Rowland and Ruby Florine Youngblood Rowland. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Dale Saffell; her son, Joshua Duane Saffell; her daughter, Melissa Ann Weiss; her sister, Margaret Holly; and her two brothers, Duane Rowland and Jim Rowland.

Linda married her husband, Norman, on December 15, 1978. Together they grew a family where she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved playing games and listening to gospel music. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her son, Jeremy Saffell of Michigan; her two daughters and son-in-law, Alicia and Brad Murphree of Kirby and Latricia and Jesse Lawrence of Caddo Gap; her stepdaughters, Cheryl Saffell of Arizona, Regina Fox (Bill) of Kirby, and Penny Smiley (Chris) of Fayetteville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her four sisters, Joy Welch of Glenwood, Sherry Milhelon of Dover, Helen Finney of Mt. Ida, and Martha Jones Mt. Ida; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Kenny Williams at Pike City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, 209 North 3rd Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
