Linda Carol Maddox

Linda Carol (Chesser) Maddox, 75, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, January 11, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born December 22, 1949, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was the Municipal Court Clerk in White County for over 30 years where she served under multiple judges. Linda also served the Lord as a pastor’s wife for over 50 years while married to the love of her life. She was an avid Razorback fan through all the ups and downs, loved her family tremendously, and was a friend to all. She was a current member of Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe.

 Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jackie Lynn Maddox; and her parents, Henry and Betty Chesser.

 She is survived by her children, Shannon (Chad) Witcher of Cullman, Alabama, Roger (Angela) Maddox of McRae, and Joshua Maddox of Searcy; seven grandchildren, Kylie Witcher, Kennedy Witcher, Maddie Witcher, Jon Luke Witcher, Skilar Maddox, Elijah Maddox and Caleb Ivy; one brother, Buddy (Paula) Chesser; one sister, Debbie (Tim) Dailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
