Linda Sue Lynch, age 64 of Arkadelphia passed away October 11 following an accident. She was born in Dermott October 22, 1946 to the late Viola and J.T. Bulloch. She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne. She is survived by her husband Al (Fredde) Lynch, daughter Brooke Deaton (Greg) and grandchildren Noah and Darby Deaton of Arkadelphia, Derin Deaton of Texarkana, Erika Deaton of Fayetteville and great grand-daughter Khloe Deaton, sisters Beverly Farrell (James) of Hot Springs and Sandra Murry (Tommy)of Bastrop, Louisiana.
Linda graduated from Pine Bluff High School and worked as a beautician for a number of years. When she wed Al in 1976 it was with the proviso that she would become a full-time mother to Brooke, entertainment coordinator, laundress, interior decorator, taxi service, botanist, pet handler, sartorial guide, gourmet cook, financial advisor and human relations counselor. In 1983 when Al's insurance business encountered severe financial distress she went to school, obtained an insurance agent's license and spent several years conducting a successful rescue. She also took on the design and interior restoration of an historic building in downtown Arkadelphia for Al's offices and high scale rental apartments in four separate stages. In the 1990's when her grandchildren came along she felt Al had gained enough of a degree of self-sufficiency for her to dedicate herself in the above capacities to them. She was very successful in her efforts to spoil them to which many can attest. She is remembered for her Sunday night family dinners, especially her chicken pine nut parmesan pasta!
Linda had a special understanding and spiritual relationship with her natural surroundings. Those who knew her and were recipients of her special love will forever remember and cherish her.
