Linda Lewis
Linda Joyce Lewis, 67, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2014. She was born on February 16, 1946 in Limestone County, Alabama to Alvin Burdgett and the late Francis Aday Posey.
Linda was a member of Wright's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. She enjoyed many hobbies including flower gardening, painting and crocheting. Linda worked as a LPN in the medical field. She is remembered for loving her family unconditionally.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Kim Berry and husband Lorance of Benton and Sophia Hodge and husband Jeff of Benton; two sons, John Lewis of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Daniel Lewis and wife Deidra of Benton; one brother, James Posey and wife Wanda of Benton; three sisters; Edith Walsh of Royal, Arkansas, Josephine Martinez of Miami, Florida, and Linda Kay Burdgett of Alabama; nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; her loving poodle, Precious, and many other family members and friends who loved Linda dearly and will miss her always.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother and son, Robert Lance Lewis.
Funeral service officiated by Rev. Scott Nalley and Rev. Curtis Bryant is Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR, 72015.
