Linda J. Hancock, age 75, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019. She was born on February 22, 1944, in Laurel, Mississippi, the daughter of William Wesley Massey and Minnie Lee Jordan Massey. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hancock; her parents; one brother, Mack Ray Atwood; and one sister, Linda Joyce "Shirley" Evans. She loved Jehovah and was a member of the Glenwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, where she loved her services with her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed having her coffee while visiting with friends, and dearly loved spending time with her family. Linda will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by three daughters, Quinette Gilzow of Hot Springs, Linda Paculan and Betty Drye, both of Glenwood; one stepson, Scott Hancock of Amity; three grandchildren, Nikki Thompson of North Carolina, Jacob Drye of Glenwood and John Hancock of Amity; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clifton Atwood, Jr. and William Atwood, both of Mississippi; four sisters, Wanda Legg, Louise Thrash, Brenda Walters, all of Mississippi and Sondra May of Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2019, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Glenwood with Bro. Dewayne Daniels officiating.
