Linda Louise Duer

Linda Louise Duer, 75, of Hensley, Arkansas passed away April 11, 2023.  She was born July 12, 1947 in Fontana, California to the late Leonard Holland and Geneva (Godfrey) Hudgens.

Linda adored her children and loved her family.  Her little dogs were spoiled and treated like part of the family.  She always had beautiful, fresh flowers in her home.  Linda was strong-willed yet had a great sense of humor.  She was an avid reader with John Grissom and James Patterson being a few of her favorite authors.  Linda was called the “Facebook Queen” by her family for her fascination of scrolling through the posts and thinking everyone was sending her personal messages as well as how many friend requests she had. 

Preceding Linda in death are her husband John Mark Duer; and her parents, Leonard Holland and Geneva Hudgens.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Paula Pilkington of Hensley, Arkansas; son, Mark Duer and wife Tosha of Benton, Arkansas; five grandchildren:  Alexis Duer, Blaine Duer, Ryleigh Goode, Caleb Pilkington, and Jacob Pilkington; two sisters:  Barbara Dressler and husband Ron of Bryant, Arkansas and Betty Roach and husband Dale of Prairieville, Louisiana; and many family members and friends who love Linda and will miss her always.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 19, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
