Linda Sue "Combee" Dobson Battie, 52, of Little Rock, passed November 11, 2013. She was born April 3, 1961 to Morris and Margie Combee. She was the youngest of six children, three girls and three boys. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Allen Combee, Jr., grandparents, Morris and Lena Combee, and John and Cora Bell Blissitt, three brothers, Charles and Eulas Parker and Raymond Combee, and her former husband, Donnie Mac Battie.
She is survived by her mother, Margie Combee; former husband, Michael Dobson; son, Obie Battie; daughter, Tara Dobson Freeman (Billy); two beautiful sisters, Tina Combee and Carol Little; a special niece and nephew, Felicia Little Wallace and Brandon Combee; seven grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Services will be held at the Church of the Word, 21117 Arch St., East End on Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m. Some of Linda's ashes will be taken to Greers Ferry at her request.
