Lillie Jean "Nannie" Daughenbaugh Palmer, 86, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away April 13, 2012. She was born in Little Rock to Earl Clinton and Lillie Bell Whitwell Daughenbaugh and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert Kenneth Palmer, brothers, Dallas Daughenbaugh and Edgar Daughenbaugh, and sisters, Gladys Walloch, Vivian Chapman, Opal Hicks, Lois Hayman and Kathryn Hubbs. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Palmer and wife, Mary of Little Rock, Sharon Rogers of Conway and Linda Boswell and husband, Jerry of Houston; grandchildren, Pam Clark, Christopher Rogers and wife, Susan, Kimberly Best and husband, Justin, J.P. Palmer and Anna Palmer; great-grandchildren, Taylor Boswell and Emma Rogers; sister, Margaret Linsley; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, officiated by Rev. Don Chandler. Memorials may be made to the Harris Brake Volunteer Fire Department.
