Lillie Mae Adams Andrews age 89 of Hobe Sound, Florida formerly of Gurdon, Arkansas died Monday, June 8, 2009 in Hobe Sound, Florida. She was born August 11, 1919 in Reeder, Arkansas the daughter of the late John and Mamie Cates Adams. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Palm City, Florida and a volunteer in the Public School. While residing in Gurdon, she was a member of the Gurdon First Assembly of God Church and was a foster grandparent. Her husband, Watson Andrews and one brother, Hubert Adams preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter and son-n-law, Wanda and Mark Tallman of Hobe Sound, Florida two sisters, Myrtle Roberson and Helen Perrine both of Gurdon, Arkansas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon with Rev. Jim Farris officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery at Bluff City. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Unit or Facility of your choice.
