Lillian Wilson, age 78, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
She was born on December 21, 1943, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Calvin Wilson and Essie Belle Mahan Wilson. She married Laman Paul Wilson on June 29, 1963, the love of her life, who preceded her in death on November 22, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents and many sisters and brothers.
Lillian was a member of Victory Tabernacle of Hot Springs; she loved the Lord. Lillian, Bro. Laman and Nate traveled throughout the Southern and Western United States, for many years spreading the gospel. What an adventure that was! She worked various places over the years but spent 20+ years working for Alco where she retired as manager of the Hot Springs store. Several of her hobbies were to work crossword puzzles and crochet, but her favorite was to go fishing with Laman. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and we will always carry her memory with us.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Nathaniel and Julie Wilson; her grandson, Caleb Wilson; her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Betty Wilson; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Bill Tipton; her sisters-in-law, Juanita Smith and Shelby Wilson; her bonus sister, Alice Boman; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many good friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, July 14, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Rev. Brian Ferrell and Bro. Billy Kitchens officiating.
