Lillian Fayrean McCoy

     Lillian Fayrean McCoy, 95, of Mayflower passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She was born on September 21, 1926, in Kensett, Arkansas to Virgil and Minnie Dickens (Green).

     Lillian was the assistant director of the Mayflower Senior Citizen Building from the time it was started until her passing. She was a long-time member of VFW and Eastern Star in Conway, Arkansas. Her passion was quilting, her camping group and her loving family and friends.She was known for her loving smile, kindness and compassionate spirit.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lindsey McCoy; two sons, Ralph, and Jerry McCoy; her parents; brother, Perry P. Dickens; sister, Elois McCaghren and sister-in-law, Betty Dickens.

     Lillian is survived by her son, Jeffery McCoy, and his wife Patsy of Mayflower; brothers, Virgil Dickens of California, and Jerrell Dickens of Mayflower.; grandchildren, Billy McCoy and his wife Caren, Lindsey McCoy, Kenneth Papera and his wife Carla and Angelique Kellum and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Caleb Kellum, Isaiah Papera, Ethan McCoy, and Austyn McCoy. Along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends and family.

     Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Mayflower. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Mayflower. Interment will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the Mayflower Senior Citizens Building after the burial.
