Lillian Brewer
Lillian Geneva Brewer, age 90, of Little Rock passed away on August 19, 2010. She was born June 1, 1920, in England, Arkansas, to Samuel M. Beard and Lillie Davidson Beard. Geneva became a Christian in January 1948 and has been a member of Ironton Baptist Church since then. During her illness, she missed going to church most of all.
Penny, as she was known to her parents and siblings, was preceded in death by husband, Charles Brewer; her parents; her sisters, Alma Beard, Myrtle Halliburton, Leola West and Evelyn Nolan; brothers, Floyd Beard, Everett Beard and Herbert Beard.
She is survived by daughter, Elaine Dawson (Bud), grandson, Charles Dawson (Stephanie) and the three great grandchildren she was so fond of, Grant, Clay and Gracie Dawson. She is also survived by a special niece, Bonnie Wells (Bobby).
Memorials may be made to Ironton Baptist Church Building Fund, 14718 Ironton Cut off Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 22nd from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 23rd at Ironton Baptist Church with Dr. Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Ivy Chapel Cemetery.
