Lida Huff

Lida Lucille Roberson Huff, 95, of Antioch, Arkansas, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 3, 2009. She was born January 3, 1914, at Floyd, Arkansas, to Otha and Beulah Roberson. Mrs. Huff was a member of Antioch Community Church (United Methodist), a long time member of UMW, and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Eva Dell (Dewey W.) Collier of Cabot, Bennie W. (June) Huff of Antioch, Emma Jane (Andrew) Howanietz of Cabot, Faye (Bobby) Baty of Lonoke, Janet (Billy) Gill of Antioch and Sharon Price of Beebe; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Verlon Roberson of Searcy; and sister, Wilda Wyatt of Pangburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie E. Huff; her son, Donald Stephen Huff; one granddaughter, Tammy Baty Hart; two great-grandsons; and three brothers, Rudell, Denver and Nell Roberson.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Antioch Community Church, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund or Antioch Community Church, 197 Sandy Ford Road, Beebe, AR 72012.
