L. Edward Holland passed on March 27, 2020, at the age of 77. He was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on May 7, 1942 to Lewis B. Holland and Evelyn Ilene (Read) Holland. He grew up in Coffeyville and attended school there graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1960 and from Coffeyville Community Junior College in 1962.

He worked at H. W. Read's Department in high school and college. He then moved to Kansas City and went to work for Macy's as a buyer. He later moved to St. Louis, MO and worked for American Express Travel retiring from there and moving to San Miguel, Mexico. He returned to the states and lived in Little Rock, Arkansas until his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, his close friend, Clyman Izard, a sister, Margaret Coberly, a brother, Robert Benton and a niece, Sally Holland. He is survived by his mother, Ilene Holland, his brother, Read Holland and wife Diana of Purdon, Texas, his nephews, Jim Holland and wife Nora of Midlothian, Texas, Jason Coberly of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, a great nephew, Chris Holland of Midlothian, Texas and a great niece, Alicia Mizuno and husband Josh of Carrolton, Texas and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at a future date at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock with the scattering of his ashes in the church cemetery.
