Lester Foster

Lester D. Foster (Wayne), 72, of North Little Rock passed from this life on March 25, 2021. He was born March 26, 1948 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Lester and Myrtle Martin Foster. Wayne enjoyed collecting, trips to the casino, and watching Deal or No Deal. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. In addition to his parents, a sister, Sue Brown precedes him in death.

Left to mourn his passing are his loving and dedicated wife of forty-one years, Wanda Foster, children, Jennifer (Frank) Pyle of Bauxite, Lisa Birchett and Misty Foster both of Cabot; grandchildren, Wesley, Noah, Adrien, Jaxon, Norri, Brexlee, Kaylee, Jordan, Tristan, Hurley, Xzander and Bayleigh.  Other survivors, include siblings Shirley Meux of Little Rock, Larry (Clara Mae) Martin of North Little Rock, his beloved dog, Trixie who he lovingly referred to as “Pup”, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with Brother Dan Weeks officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday, March 29, 2021 at the funeral home.  James Buhrman, Bobby Leistikow, Frank Pyle, Noah Silva, Jon Moniz and Jerry Taylor Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
