LeRoy Potts, 82 of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was born in Lonoke, AR on April 15, 1932 to James and Clair (Barnes) Potts. Mr. Potts was a Roofing Inspector, and Veteran of the Korean War receiving the Purple Heart and the Bronze Service Star.
He is survived by his daughters, Marie Stubbs (Vern) of Mabelvale, Sheila Potts of Little Rock, Mary Cash (Dennis) of Little Rock, Sandra Sloan (WC) of Alabama; sons, James Potts (Beth) of Crystal Hill, John Kelley ( Karen) of Mabelvale, Jackie Potts of Little Rock, Josh Potts of Alexander, Johnny Potts of North Little Rock; sisters, Karlena Hamlet (Melvin) of Tennessee, Renia Alexander of Texarkana; thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and many other family members.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12th at 3:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205 (NW Corner of I-630 and Barrow Rd) with Dr. Bob Dunaway officiating. Visitation will be prior to service starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Ironton Cemetery.
