Leroy Forrester
Leroy Forrester, 70, of Roland passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born in Pulaski County on March 13, 1943 to the late Henry and Sleetie Chew Forrester. He worked for the Pulaski County Road Department for 30 years and attended the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Mable Gilbert Forrester, of Roland; daughter, Connie Harrawood, of Conway; son, Tommy Forrester, of Roland; five grandchildren, Bridget, Scott, Liz, Ryan, and Thurman; five brothers, Thurman, J.Z.(Red), Steve,Otis and Hershel Forrester, all of Roland; and one sister, Judy Forrester, of Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Forrester; grandson, Derick Forrester; and brother, Cecil (Alfred) Forrester.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, in the Kennerly Cemetery in Monnie Springs. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Family Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
