Leonard M. Sherman, 85, died Sunday, September 21, 2008. He was born December 29, 1922, to Gladys Russell and Harold C. Sherman in Oak Park, Ill.
His parents and sisters, Glenna, Dorothy, Corinne, and Marjorie, and his wife of 54 years, Marie, predeceased him.
Leonard was a retired geologist and a potter. He and Marie exhibited at many craft fairs as members of the Arkansas Craft Guild. His hobbies included reading, gardening, and model railroading.
He is survived by daughters Robin S. Phelps and Nicana C. Sherman, both of Little Rock, and son, Erick L. (Suzanne) of Melbourne, FL, and grandson, Ryan M. Sherman, also of Melbourne.
Services Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at 3:00P M., by Rev. Robert Klein, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1818 Reservoir Road, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a disaster relief agency or a charity of your choice.
