Leonard Wright "Hoppy" Hopkins, 81, of Little Rock passed away on Friday, July 18 with his family by his bedside.
He was born on November 28, 1932 in Austin, Arkansas. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Erickson Hopkins; one son, Wayne (Rhonda); three grandchildren: Jason (Jenniffer), Dr. Britney Gleason (Zach), Josh; honorary grandchildren: Glen Birdsong and Jessica Cress; three great-grandchildren: Nicholas Hopkins, Zoe and Miriam Gleason; sister, Louise Cornell (David), many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infants: Leonard Bradley and Dawn Annette; two brothers: Glen Hopkins and Harold Clinton Rettig.
Service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at North Little Rock Funeral Home with Zach Gleason officiating. Burial will follow in the Apple Hill Cemetery, Ward, AR. Online obituary and guest registry at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
