Leonard Herrin

Leonard Herrin, age 70 of Hot Springs died Friday, April 21, 2006 at his home. He was born September 1, 1935 the son of the late Omer and Myrtie Duncan Herrin. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alta Howell and four brothers, Wilson, Thurman Ray, James Harold and Billy Joe Herrin.


Survivors include his wife Margie Wait Herrin; two daughters Peggy Hayes of Bismarck and Judith Swaim of Ellicott City, Maryland; six grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Parker, Jordan, Jared and Jillian Swaim and Copelin Hayes; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2006 at Oak Bower Church in Bismarck with David Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Bower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Justin Parker, Jared Swaim, Michael Herrin, Rodney Thornton, Buddy Hodges and Doyle Hawthorne.
